Speaking For The Cause: The Worlds Oldest Trade

Our publicly expressed views on this issue:
Our views:
Prostitution and trafficking is violence against women and children. Women, and especially children involved in trafficking, do not “choose” to be prostitutes. It is chosen for them by the people who pay for their sexual services. Prostitution is sexual exploitation and a violation of any person’s human rights. Women in the sex trade industry are often severely injured, some die, and some even murdered. The average age of entrance into prostitution worldwide is 13.
Our aims

Our aim as an awareness campaign is foremost to make people conscious that this going on in our own society. We aim at getting people involved in combating trafficking. By educating and lowering the cases of trafficking, we hope to bring in less revenue for the people involved (the bosses). Ultimately our aim is to promote the elimination of trafficking. We aspire to strengthen and broaden the unity between women worldwide and promote the human rights of the women and children involved in this trade. We wish to give them a voice and platform to be heard. Without a demand this trade would not exist, we aim at discouraging the demand for trafficking. We intend to highlight what’s going on and update our community with regards to this issue. We aim at promoting gender equality.
