Rationale

When we first got the brief we all thought of what angered us the most and what we despised. We common ground on having an anger in human trafficking and what it involves. We discussed why we were so anti-human traffiking to come up with a concept.

We got to a conclusion that human trafficking is a huge crisis in the world today and a lot of people ignore. To us like buy or selling a meaningless asset that would be tossed out after being used and considered old. One of our concepts ‘buy a being’ used to emphasize the idea purchasing a human like an object.

Our name is movintraffik because the constant exportation of victims used in this trade for sex and labor.


Our logo is of 3 fingerprints. A fingerprint represents a personal identity. In our concept, they represent a form of a bar code, because like a shopping product, each product has its own bar code so that it is identified when scanned. Our second concept incorporated in our logo is it is in a horizontal line that makes the logo also represent a robot. Which communicates the link between a human’s personal identity and the coming and going of traffic through the boarders of other countries these people are exported to. Our colors we chose were light purple dark purple and black.

Our stencil is of our blogspot address to create a call for action to people to visit our blogspot. We did this by creating curiosity and leaving the viewer to connect the dots themselves. Our stencils carry through our theme of light and dark purple and black.

The stickers were of our logo because it followed through with our concept. We placed the stickers at robots, in public bathrooms, stop streets, trash bags and cars.

Our stamps follow the same concept of our logo. Accept we used our own fingerprints and made finger print stamps.

Instead of using a T-shirt, we used a jump suit top with our stencil information on it. This was for our frozen in traffic campaign. Where we would be in morning traffic and we would freeze for 30 seconds to show awareness of human traffiking.
